      Yair has more than 23 years of cumulative international experience in mining, oil & gas, commodity trading and CRE investments. He brings to VIYM his experience in capital markets and commercial property investment management in the OECD and in emerging markets. From 1993 to 2003, Yair served as a Director of Subsidiaries for Topland Group PLC, a major investment company in UK commercial property, with a portfolio valued at over GBP 2.5 billion.

      He has a degree in political science from Tel Aviv University and, after some further academic study and a period in the Israeli Foreign Office, he became the General Manager of Meridian Commodities, a group trading in bulk grains and foodstuffs. During his time at Meridian Commodities, Yair acquired expertise in international finance, banking and company administration. He currently serves on the BoD and is the CFO of Target Resources, a London AIM quoted diamond & gold mining company.

      Yair is fluent in English and Hebrew.

      Andrey has more than 21 years of international experience. He co-founded VIYM in 2006 and today is a partner in both the private equity growth capital and real estate investment arms of the company, with overall responsibility for more than USD400 million AUM. He is an internationally experienced hotel operator, and successfully manages assets in a number of Russia's leading hotel, logistics and multi-use real estate projects.

      Prior to co-founding VIYM, Andrey led the development of the largest hotel in St. Petersburg "Pribaltiyskaya" and opened the first indoor water park in the city, the largest in Russia. He also worked in various financial consultancy roles at Rocco Forte's New Hotel Group, MCD-Pannell Kerr Forster and Europe Management-Invest.

      Andrey seeks to develop the Private Equity industry in Russia, and is currently the Chairman of the Board of the National Alternative Investment Management Association (NAIMA), a non-profit partnership representing leading alternative investment firm providers committed to the growth of long-term capital in Russia. The association’s current flagship project is an industry-wide endeavour to promote private equity and venture capital as an asset class in Russia.

      Andrey has a distinguished background in academia. He was previously an Associate Professor of Economics at St. Petersburg State University, holds a PhD in Finance & Credit from St. Petersburg State University, as well as an EMBA Global from London Business School and Columbia University GSB. He is fluent in Russian, English and German.

      Dmitry has over 20 years of senior executive experience in financial services, industrial production, and retail. He leads the company’s investment offices in the UK, Luxembourg, and Russia. Before joining VIYM, he served as Executive Director at Financial Corporation Uralsib (his duties included responsibility for a wide range of assets with total capitalization of over USD 1 bln). He also held a number of senior positions in leading Russian banks, was Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Factoring Company, the Deshoulieres Group, was a member of the Boards of Directors of Imperial Porcelain Manufactory and Regional Hotel Chain (9 hotels in Russia).

      Currently, Dmitry is a member of the Boards of Directors of Syktyvkar Tissue Group (one of Russia’s largest tissue paper producers), Tristar Investment Holdings (developer of the project to restore and modernize St Petersburg’s historic House with Lions into Russia’s first Four Seasons hotel), Nikolskie Riady (developer of the project to restore and modernize the historic former Nikolsky Market in St Petersburg into a modern hotel development that will operate under the Holiday Inn Express and Meininger brands), and many other VIYM portfolio companies.

      Dmitry holds an MA in Economics and Finance from Russian State Technological University. He is fluent in Russian and English.

      Executive Director, Hospitality Real Estate Experience

      Victoria has more than 23 years of hospitality sector experience in senior management and financial controlling positions in the leading international hotel chains of Corinthia and Sheraton in St. Petersburg as well as CEO for Tristar Investment Holdings, the development company which was engaged in renovating a 19th-century private mansion in St. Petersburg’s historic centre into one of the most prestigious hotels in Russia – Four Seasons Lion Palace. She represented the jury for the leading hospitality sector contests in St. Petersburg for 5 years in a row and led the pre-opening teams for Corinthia Hotels in Lisbon and Budapest. She is also Maitre Hotelier of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and its annual Gala Dinner Project Manager in St. Petersburg.

      Victoria holds an MA in Philology Sciences from the St. Petersburg State University, with a range of international hotel management and leadership program certificates from the Cornell University and the Institute of Maritime Hotel Management. She is fluent in Russian, English and French, with a working knowledge of Romanian and Italian.

      Irina has over 20 years of strong financial experience in consulting, private equity and hospitality sector. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), she is responsible for all financial matters of both the private equity growth capital and real estate investment arms of the company, with overall responsibility for more than USD400 million AUM. Prior to joining VIYM, Irina served as the Chief Financial Officer of Kempinski Hotel in St. Petersburg (Russia), and Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Neva-Rus Private Equity Fund. She was also a Senior Audit Consultant at Assurance and Business Advisory Services (ABAS) for PricewaterhouseCoopers in St. Petersburg.

      Since 2015, Irina has also served as the head of VIY Managers SA (AIFM) Luxembourg, Conducting Officer (Portfolio Manager) and a member of the Board of Directors for Luxembourg domiciled funds - VIY Greater Europe Hospitality (VIY GEHF) and VIY Growth Fund (VIY GF). Currently, she represents the Funds' interests on the boards of several portfolio companies: VIY GEHF – Antognolla Golf (a project involves the full-scale modernization of 18-hole international-class golf course on the grounds of the Antognolla Luxury Resort and Residences hotel complex in Umbria); VIY GF - Syktyvkar Tissue Group (one of Russia’s largest tissue paper producers), Family Doctor Medical Company (a fast-growing medical company offering a comprehensive range of high-quality, private in-house diagnostic and treatment services targeted at the emerging middle class in Russia). Besides, she served as Sole Director of MH212 Vienna Hotel (Park Royal Palace Hotel Vienna).

      Elena is the Director of Corporate Finance and is responsible for relations with investors, banks and other financial institutions. Elena has over 15 years of experience in the Russian and international capital markets. Within the framework of her activity Elena led the companies to the markets of external borrowings, including attraction of international syndicated loans, structuring of asset-backed finance with various types of assets, incl. aircrafts, and foreign trade transactions. Also conducted securitization of financial portfolios, placed bond issues and other fixed-income instruments (CLN) with the involvement of international investors and participated in M​​&A transactions in the banking industry. The scope of responsibility also included working with international credit agencies to assign and maintain financial sustainability ratings. Prior to VIYM Elena worked in Sberbank and Uralsib FC in managerial positions (until 2004 - IBG Nikoil).

      Elena holds a diploma with honors from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. She is fluent in Russian and English.
